Ida A. Barletta

Ida A. Barletta (Iascone), 90, of Providence, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Antonio Barletta. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Angelina (Noviello) Iascone.
Mrs. Barletta worked for Uniroyal and Brian Supply Company for many years before retiring.
A loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by her son, John F. Barletta and his wife Ingrid; two daughters, Jane B. Farrell and her husband George and Judith Spinella and her husband David; seven grandchildren, Brianna, Jordan, Gianna, Alexandra, Lauren, David, Jr. and Isabella; a great-grandson; Antonio; and a sister, Rose Ketchel. She was the sister of the late Peter Iascone, Nicholas Iascone and Catherine Tavares.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 9 a.m. from MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Church, 100 Chatham St., Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visitation Friday 4 - 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Mrs. Barletta's memory may be made to: Rhode Island Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Ave., Providence, RI 02907.
