Ida O. Baccari

Ida "Edith" Baccari, of North Providence, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at home. She was the wife of the late Hannibal "Mario" Baccari. Ida was the daughter of the late Phillip and Teresa (Lombardi) Cedrone.

Ida was a financial counselor at Women & Infants Hospital, Providence for many years. She was a communicant of St. Augustine Church, Providence.

She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Janis L. Baccari; one sister, Eileen Biancuzzo and her husband Jack and was the beloved aunt of Dr. Rachael Biancuzzo, Martin Biancuzzo and Paul Cedrone. She was the sister of the late Gloria Pirie and Dr. Dante Cedrone.

Ida's funeral will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 8:30 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence. Burial will in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ida's memory may be made to Women & Infants Hospital, 101 Dudley St., Providence, RI 02905.
