Geraldine (Geri) Myrick
April 3, 1945 - June 26, 2026
You will be missed... Geraldine A. Myrick, 81, passed away quietly surrounded by the love of her family and caregivers from Avalon Nursing Home.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Foti) Lynch. Her sisters, Jackie Hefner, Kathy Curran and brother, Joseph Lynch, will all miss her. Geri is now reunited with her parents, her late sister, Donna Chambers and other family members that she loved. Geri was a nurse for most of her career and raised her children with the late, David W. Myrick.
Geri's hands were rarely still as her love for knitting was shared with her children and grandchildren and her knitting projects were bountiful. She also looked forward to cooking for the ones she loved. Her cooking always filled the house with wonderful aromas, stories and laughter filled the room and many memories were made year after year. She loved going on retreats to Watch Hill, shopping adventures, spending vacations in South County and traveling abroad to Ireland.
Grandma Geri was always happiest when her grandchildren were together baking or eating ice cream. All of her children were blessed with happy households and families of their own.
She is survived by her children; Erin (Bradley) Trodson, David J. Myrick, Matthew (Ana) Myrick, Mary (Brian) Lightfoot; and five grandchildren; Lily, Shawn, Ethan, Chloe and Lucas.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 10am - 11am at Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence, Rhode Island, followed by a prayer service at 11am.
A private burial will be held for her family by setting sail on the Narragansett Bay where her remains will be set free during sunset.
There are no goodbyes from us. Wherever you are, you will be in our hearts.
