Gennaro Mastroianni

Gennaro Mastroianni, 84, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved husband of Vincenzina (Mazzei) Mastroianni for 60 years.  Born in Calabria, Italy, he was the son of the late Francesco and Maria (Mazi) Mastroiani. Mr. Mastroianni immigrated to the United States of America in 1976 where he worked as a toolmaker before retiring. Besides his wife, he is survived by his three devoted children, Maria Ionkoff and her husband Luis, Frank Mastroianni and his wife Cindy and John Mastroianni and his wife Tina; a sister, Rosina Barone; 6 cherished grandchildren, Veronica Lindmark, Adolfo Ionkoff, Daniela Mastroianni, Michaela King, Stefanie Mastroianni and Jericha Mastroianni and 3 treasured great grandchildren, Michael, Francesca and Sofia.  He was the brother of the late Evalina Sacco.  His funeral and burial were private.
