It is with great sadness that the Family of Frank Anthony Pirri, 73, of Narragansett, RI and West Palm Beach, FL, formerly of North Attleboro, MA announce his passing on September 20, 2024.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Geraldine Ann Pirri (Palmieri) of Narragansett, RI; his four children, Anthony Pirri, of North Attleboro, MA, Allyson Philbin (Pirri) of Narragansett, RI, Thomas and Alexandra Pirri (Cichon) of Narragansett, RI and Jeffrey and Brittany Pirri (Dings) of Warwick, RI; as well as four grandchildren, Sean Philbin, of Narragansett, RI, Abigail Philbin, of Narragansett, RI, Jeffrey Jr Pirri, of Warwick, RI and Leo Pirri of Narragansett, RI. He is the son of the late Thomas and Lucy Pirri (Citrone).
Frank retired 8 years ago after a successful 15 years of being an entrepreneur. Prior to being an entrepreneur, he worked as a manufacturer’s sales representative for many products sold throughout New England. Frank was a great father, role model and fighter who survived four cancers, and a 25-year battle with heart disease and diabetes.
Frank’s best days were spent enjoying his family, whether it be at home, on the many vacations he took his family on or at the baseball diamonds, football fields or basketball gymnasiums. His hobbies included golfing and watching the New York Yankees. Frank had a mind as sharp as a tack and could recall every game his children performed in. He was a former Treasurer of North Attleboro Pop Warner Football, a former member of St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Church in North Attleboro, MA, and former member of Highland Country Club, Attleboro, MA.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend his wake at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence, RI 02911 on Tuesday, September 24th from 4-7 PM. A funeral will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church, 239 Regent Ave, Providence, RI 02908 on Wednesday, September 25th at 10 AM followed by the burial at the Mount Hope Cemetery at 565 Mt. Hope St., North Attleboro. MA 02760.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A special thanks to the doctors, nurses and medical staff over the years at Miriam Hospital, South County Hospital and Rhode Island Hospital.
