Frank Florio Sr.

Frank Florio Sr., 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Amelia (Dionisi) Florio.

Frank worked as a jewelry designer for many years, before retiring. A horse racing enthusiast, he owned and raced his horses at Lincoln Downs. He also enjoyed coaching North Providence Little League Baseball.

He is survived by his two children, Michael and Christine Florio; his brother Anthony Florio; and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Frank A. Florio, Jr. and brother of the late John and Robert Florio.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Frank's life will be held at a later date.
