Evelyn R. Previte

Evelyn R. Previte (Andreozzi), 92, formerly of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. She was the wife of the late John T. Previte. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Rosa (Piacitelli) Andreozzi.

Evelyn worked as a bookkeeper for Coro Manufacturing and American Universal Insurance for many years before retiring.

A loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she is survived by her four children, Elaine Previte, Karen Gomez, John Previte and David Previte and his wife Lisa; a brother, Joseph Andreozzi; a sister, Anna DiPaolo; five grandchildren, Tara Ponte, Kristen Wright, Kayleigh, Isabella and Olivia Previte; her great granddaughter, Laylah Wright; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Andreozzi, Dr. Armando Andreozzi, Anthony, Frank, Victor and John Andreozzi.

Visitation will be held on Monday Morning, April 5, 2021 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins St., Providence. Burial will be in Santa Maria Del Campo Cemetery, Barrington. In lieu of flowers, donations in Evelyn's memory may be made to: St. Ann Church Memorial Fund, 2 Russo St., Providence, RI 02904.
