Emilia A. Bucci

Emilia "Emmy" (Mignanelli) Bucci, 87, of Johnston, passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Bucci, Sr. and mother of the late Linda Markey Frank Bucci, Jr.  Born in Sant'Apollinare, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Pacitto) Mignanelli.  Mrs. Bucci worked for the State of Rhode Island TDI Department, before retiring.    A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she leaves two daughters, Joyce J. Pascucci and her husband, Reno and Cynthia D. Rico and her husband Russ; and five grandchildren, Bethany J. Whiffin, Kristine A. Pascucci, Jessica L. Markey and Kathryn E. and John M. Rico.  She is also survived by her son-in-law, Tom Markey. She was the sister of the late Esther Marzilli, Anellina, Ventre and Emilia Mignanelli. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston.  Entombment will be in Our Risen Christ Mausoleum, St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
