Elisa Pagliarini

Beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.  Elisa Pagliarini, 63, of North Providence, Rhode Island, passed away on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023, after a long battle with Cancer and joined her husband, Joseph, and daughter, Victoria, in Gods loving embrace. Raised in North Providence, she was the daughter of Michael and Lillian Reynolds.

 

She was a graduate of St Mary’s Academy Bay View, class of '78, and Providence College, class of '82. She married the love of her life, Joseph Pagliarini, in 1981 and went on to have four amazing children, whom she loved greatly. Elisa was the recipient of the Girl Scouts Marian award.  In her professional life she was a teacher assistant and loved helping kids succeed in school.  In her personal life she was the definition of a Nona, she would do anything for her grandchildren including traveling to horse shows, soccer, baseball, and football games, as well as driving absurd distances, by Rhode Island standards, just to have lunch in Maine.

 

Elisa will be lovingly remembered by her children and spouses: Christopher (Stephanie), Richard (Heather), Thomas (Julia), and son-in-law Kevin Dowling; as well as her nine grandchildren: Elliana, Ezra, Joseph, Robert, Isla, Edward, Gianna, Louis, and Everly. She is also survived by her mother Lillian [Sinesi] Reynolds, brother Michael Reynolds, and sister Mary [Reynolds] Warburton.

 

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 between 4PM and 7PM at Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence, RI.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial and funeral celebrating Elisa’s life on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 10 AM at St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave, Providence, RI. Interment at St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston, R.I. following the mass.
