Elena Vendittelli

Elena Vendittelli,103, of North Providence, passed away on St. Joseph's Day, March 19, 2024 at Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred J. Vendittelli. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Arduino and Angelina (Palozzi) Maceroni.

Family always came first with Elena, her granddaughter and great grandchildren being the loves of her life. She was gifted in many ways. An excellent cook and baker, friends and family always looked forward to her Christmas Cookie trays and birthday cakes. Elena was a talented seamstress, creating wedding dresses and prom dresses for many family members. She was loving and compassionate, caring for and nursing to health a number of family members. Elena had a deep trust in God and loved her Catholic faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Jo-Ann Pesino and her husband Dennis; her granddaughter, Christina-Marie Morin and her husband Jeremy, and three great-grandchildren, Andrew, Ashley and Nicholas Morin. She was the sister of the late Teresa Evangelista, Brigida Cioe and Jennie Esposito, and the grandmother of the late William and Matthew Krajewski and Marie-Therese Krajewski.

Visitation will be Monday morning, March 25, 2024, from 9-10 a.m. at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
