Elena R. Amoriggi

Elena R. (Pezzi) Amoriggi, 91, of Johnston, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter M. Amoriggi. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late James and Carmela (Larco) Pezzi.
Elena was a homemaker and worked alongside her family at Peter Amoriggi Seafood in North Providence for several years. She was a member of the Fruit Hill Junior Women's Club and Kirkbrae Country Club.

She is survived by her sons, Peter M. Amoriggi, Jr. and Kenneth J. Amoriggi; her daughters, Linda A. Melis and Karen A. Amaral. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Kenneth Amoriggi,II, Lauren Pettit, Desiree Vannostrand, Peter M. Amoriggi, III, Bianca Melis, Reynaldo Melis and Amanda Amaral, and 3 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Raymond, Edward and Vincent "Jimmy" Pezzi, Angela Iannazzi, Mildred Bursie and Evelyn Merola.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 10 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave, Johnston. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visiting hours respectfully omitted.
