Edward A. Ferruolo

FERRUOLO, Edward, 97, passed away at The Crystal Lake Rehabilitation and Care Center in Pascoag, RI on Saturday, December 17, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Evelyn (D'Attorro) Ferruolo for 64 years. Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Antonio and Filomena (Chiaverini) Ferruolo.

He is survived by his children, Robin Andreozzi, Valerie Sollecito and Edward Ferruolo, Jr.; grandchildren, Thomas Sollecito and Genna Mollo, great grandchildren Thomas, Jr. and Michael Sollecito. He was the brother of the late Alyce Fanning, Angela Corsini, Mary Ceserreti, Eva DeLoretto, Ana Pandozzi and Evelyn Pantalone.

Ed is a veteran of World War II and served honorably in the Marines in the South Pacific. He was an avid ballroom dancer and along with his wife taught ballroom dancing for over 50 years. He was a member of Kirkbrae Country Club.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Committal Service with military honors on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery Columbarium, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, R.I. Visiting hours respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org.
