Doris C. McElroy

Doris C. McElroy, of North Providence, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Doris (Bragg) McElroy. She was a long time resident of North Providence. Ms. McElroy was a graduate of Bay View, Salve Regina and RIC. She was employed by the Providence School Department as a teacher at the Robert F. Kennedy School and was a member of the Providence Teachers Union Retired Chapter. She was a devout parishioner of St. Augustine Church. She leaves her treasured and devoted Debbie, her husband Tim and their children, Jeffrey and Amelia; cousins, Sandra Holzer and Steven Brown. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 12:30 p.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence. Due to COVID-19 Restrictions burial will be private and visitation is respectfully omitted.
