Dora Del Signore

Dora (DiCenso) Del Signore, 91, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Hugo Del Signore, with whom she shared 70 cherished years of marriage.

Born in Introdacqua, Abruzzo, Italy, Dora was the daughter of the late Panfilo and Albina (Carini) DiCenso. A devoted wife and mother, she dedicated her life to the care and well-being of her family. Her warmth, strength, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Del Signore, and his wife Jennifer; and many family members, both in the United States and Sulmona, Italy. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Angela Del Signore, and by her siblings Pasquale and Elia DiCenso.

Visitation will be held on Monday morning, May 19, 2025, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pius V Church, 240 Eaton Street, Providence. Interment will take place at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
