Dolores C. Vingi

Dolores C. (DiMuccio) Vingi, 77, of Johnston, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Cherry Hill Manor.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Ida (Angelone) DiMuccio. Dolores worked for the Veterans Administration for many years before retiring.  She is survived by her loving daughter, Kim Marchetti and her husband Michael; two sisters, Carol Pontarelli and her husband Frank and Geraldine Marrocco and her partner Kenneth Coia; two grandchildren, Marissa and Michael Marchetti; a niece, Cheryl Lonardo; and a nephew, Frank J. Pontarelli.  She was the aunt of the late Gina Marie Pontarelli. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence.  Burial will be private.  Visitation respectfully omitted.  Donations in Dolores' memory may be made to: Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI  02904.
