Denise A. DeRosa

Denise A. (Duffy) DeRosa, 60, of Johnston, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Carlo DeRosa, Jr. and mother of the late Christopher James DeRosa. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late James and Jeanine (Lauro) Duffy. A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she is survived by her son, Keith DeRosa and his wife Michelle Primo-DeRosa of Wrentham, MA; her daughter, Jessica Casanova and her husband Carlos Casanova of Coventry; three sisters, Deborah Rossi, Diane Calise and Donna Esposito; and five grandchildren, Jacob Casale, Antonio Casanova, Dante Casanova, Giuliana DeRosa and Isla DeRosa. She is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 8:15 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston.
