Debra Ann DiNitto, 62, of North Providence, entered the land of paradise on December 9, 2025 from HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center. Born on May 1, 1963, she was the beloved daughter of the late Rose (Marrocco) DiNitto and Albert DiNitto Sr.
Debra dedicated her career to caring for people with disabilities as a Direct Support Professional, where her patience, compassion, and fun-loving spirit made a lasting impact on everyone she served. She was an avid lover of sports and music. In the early 2000s, she played for Ricotti’s, McCormack’s, and Johnston’s Women’s Softball Leagues. Debra also loved to sing and play the drums, captivating anyone who heard her.
She was the dear sister of Albert DiNitto Jr., the late Richard J. DiNitto, and Donna M. DiNitto-Rodriguez. Although Debra never had children of her own, she embraced her role as an auntie with her whole heart. Her nieces and nephews were her greatest joy, and she loved them as her own. She remains forever cherished by Lanya DiNitto-Marchetti, Anthony DiNitto, Richard DiNitto, Amanda DiNitto, Crystal DiNitto, Gina DeFreitas, Nicole DeFreitas, Dominique Dunn, Ariana DiNitto, Michael Rodriguez, Rudy Landin, Dominick DiNitto, Asia Jean-Baptist, Lyla Marchetti, Kingston DiNitto, Zachary Trahan, Jake Trahan, Angeliese Trahan, Mila Dunn, Thea Landin, Vito DiNitto, and Raelynn DiNitto.
In addition to the immense love she had for her family, Debra adored her fur baby Nekko and held a special place in her heart for her many life-long friends who were like family.
We find peace knowing she is now with Jesus and reunited with the loved ones who went before her, and that we will be together again one day.
Debra’s funeral will be held Monday, December 15, with morning visitation from 9–10:15 AM at Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston, RI. Graveside burial will be private.
