Charles William Vigneau, 77, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Charles Wilfred Vigneau and Margaret (Corcoran) Vigneau.

Charles was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War and worked for Verizon as a Special Service Technician for many years before retiring. He was a big Red Sox fan. He had a great sense of humor and a love for classic cars and aviation.

He is survived by his two children, Amanda Vigneau and Charles J. Vigneau and his fiancée Ashlee Macera; his grandson, Frankie; four sisters, Virginia Morrissey, Katherine Nagle, Ellen O’Keefe and Denise Budz; two Goddaughters, Judy O’Keefe and Ann Marie Murphy; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the later James Vigneau.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., followed by a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Burial with Military Honors in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private.
