Catherine J. Maselli

Catherine, J. Maselli (Palumbo), 102, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 at Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late John Maselli. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Olimpia (DiCecco) Palumbo. Catherine was a Communicant of St. Augustine Church in Providence for over 67 years. She was an avid bowler and loved the theater. She is survived by her son, John M. Maselli; and her sisters, Angela Lisa and Evelyn LaVena. She was the sister of the late Thomas D. Palumbo, Rose Sorafine and Marie DiNunzio. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 9 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Burial will follow at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation Tuesday 4-6 p.m. maceroni.com
