Carol T. Simonelli, 88, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Enrico Simonelli Sr.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Angelina (Ranaldi) Zincone.

A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, Carol’s greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind her cherished children, Enrico Simonelli Jr., Angela Simonelli, and Sharon Busch; her sister, Dorothy Zincone; and her two beloved grandchildren, Blake Busch and Nicholas Simonelli.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Lorraine Simonelli, and her siblings, Frank Zincone, Gloria D’Ambra, and Sandra Keller.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial will take place at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery in Exeter.
