ASSUNTA TAVONE “SUSIE” ( Ursilli), 91, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2006 at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre in Cranston. She was the wife of Matteo Tavone. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Carmella (Messa) Ursillo.
Susie had worked as a flower maker for the Calart Company of Cranston for many years. She was a loving wife and mother and a devoted grandmother. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Richard M. Tavone; a daughter, Maryann Capaldi; a sister Jennie Buonanno; five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday at 10am in the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation and flowers respectively omitted.
