Antonio M. Simeone

ANTONIO M. "TONY" SIMEONE, 77, of North Providence, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center.  He was the beloved husband of Anna M. (Assante) Simeone for 53 years.  Born in Sant'Ambrogio sul Garigliano, Italy, he was the son of the late Luigi and Amelia (Rivera) Simeone. Mr. Simeone worked as a master electrician for the IBEW Local 99.  He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed tending to his garden and bird watching. Besides his wife, he is survived by his two cherished sons, Dr. Louis R. Simeone, DPM and Anthony M. Simeone, Jr. and his wife Maria; a sister, Antonietta Venditelli; his two treasured grandsons, Anthony E. Simeone and Dean M. Simeone; a nephew, Marc; and three nieces, Marissa, Luisa and Angela.   Visitation will be held Wednesday Morning, May 3, 2017 from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in Mary Mother of Mankind Church, 25 4th St., North Providence.  Burial will be Private.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Simeone's memory may be made to: Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI  02904.
