Antonetta Zienowicz

ANTONETTA (PISCOPO) ZIENOWICZ, 90, of North Providence, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012. She was the wife of the late Julian Zienowicz. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Isabelle (Cappelli) Piscopo.

Mrs. Zienowicz had worked in the jewelry industry before retiring. She was a Past President of the Knights of Columbus Bouffard Council Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews including, Ann Marie Piscopo, Carmine Piscopo, Anthony Sauro, Jr. and Kathy Sauro D’Arienzo who was also her caregiver. She was the sister of the late Carmine Piscopo and Teresa Sauro.

Visitation will be held Saturday Morning, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, Fourth St., North Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
