Antonetta M. Pendleton

Antonetta “Etta” M. Pendleton, 93, of Lincoln, died peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Jack Pendleton.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni “John” Langella and Valentina (DiLuglio) Langella.

Etta will be remembered for her spirited personality and impeccable sense of style. Strong and spunky, she brought laughter and energy wherever she went and was truly the life of every gathering. She took great pride in always looking her best, carrying herself with elegance and grace throughout her life. Etta worked for many years as an office worker at Rau Fastener Company before enjoying retirement. Above all, she treasured her family. She was a devoted "Grandmommy" who never missed an opportunity to celebrate her grandchildren's milestones and found immeasurable joy in spending time with them and her great-granddaughter, Avery. In her later years, she also found wonderful companionship in her beloved cat, Wolfy, who brought her comfort and happiness. Her love was felt in countless ways, including through her delicious Italian home-cooked meals—especially her famous fried chicken cutlets and doughboys—which became cherished family favorites. Her love, strength, warmth, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Etta is lovingly survived by her son, Joseph Cinieri; her daughters, Valerie Leporacci and her husband, Nicholas Leporacci Jr., and Dolores Cinieri and her partner, Kevin Poitras; her brother, John Langella Jr.; and her sister, Barbara Read. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Nicole Lineberry and her husband, Brent Lineberry, and Danielle Elwood and her husband, Eric Elwood. She was especially blessed to become a Great-Grandmommy to Avery Etta Lineberry, the beloved daughter of Nicole and Brent, who brought her immense joy. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Joe Cinieri, and her beloved sister, Pearl Ryan.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a prayer service at 12:00 p.m. at Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Antonetta’s memory may be made to Paws Watch, P.O. Box 7005, Warwick, RI 02887.
