Antoinette Murray

Antoinette "Annette" (Neri) Murray, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Brookdale Smithfield.  She was the wife of the late William P. Murray, Sr. and mother of the late Edward J. Murray.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Demetrio and Barbara (Procopio) Neri.  Mrs. Murray was a retired Rhode Island State Worker.  She worked at the Department of Human Services and previously worked at the Department of Employment Security. A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived by her son, William P. Murray, Jr.; three daughters, Barbara C. Langlois and her husband James, Carol A. Dionisopoulos and her husband George and Jean M. Murray; a sister, Dolores Neri; three grandsons, Matthew, David and Peter Dionisopoulos; and two granddaughters, Brandi and Kylie Murray.  She was the sister of the late Francesco Neri, Salvatore Neri, Catherine Doonan and Anna Neri. Visitation will be held Friday Morning, June 8, 2018 from 8 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave, Providence.  Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  In lieu of flowers donations in Mrs. Murray's memory may be made to: American Heart Association, One State St., Suite 200, Providence, RI  02908.
