Anthony Martino
April 11, 1920 — August 18, 2024
Anthony Martino, 104, of Smithfield, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Mary (Pellegrino) Martino.
Anthony was a machinist at Thurston Manufacturing for 35 years, retiring in 1975. He was a Navy veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his sister, Florence Deming and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Ralph and Vincenzo Martino, Jr, Josephine DiFilippo, Ida Ricci, Carmella Ferlingere and Esther Palumbo.
His funeral and burial were private.
