Anthony C. Bomba, 92, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, at Summit Commons Nursing & Rehab Center in Providence, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of the late Antonetta C. (Improta) Bomba.
Born on July 16, 1932, in Revere, Massachusetts, Anthony was the son of the late Carmino and Maria (Cerbone) Bomba. A proud veteran of the United States Navy, he served honorably during the Korean War. Following his service, he dedicated 35 years of his life as a skilled draftsman at Brown & Sharpe until his retirement.
Anthony was deeply devoted to his family and his craft, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, hard work, and service will be remembered always.
He is survived by his children: Catherine A. Bomba, Theresa M. Bomba, and Anthony C. Bomba, Jr. and his wife Princess S. Bomba; and his son-in-law Stephen Veilleux. He was the cherished grandfather of Jessica Veilleux, Matthew Veilleux, Anthony C. Bomba III, and Jordan A. Bomba, and great-grandfather of Lillian E. Medeiros, Isabella R. Medeiros, and Mattea S. Medeiros. He was predeceased by his grandson, Stephen A. Veilleux, Jr. Anthony was also the brother of the late Frank Bomba, Phyllis Montella, Rose Rudnick, and Ralph Bomba.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence, followed by a Prayer Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Riverside.
