Obituary

North Providence – Ann T. Fico, 79, of McGuire Road, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 26, 2025, with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Angelina (Russo) Fico.

Born in Providence, she was the sister to the late Albert R. Fico and Kenneth M. Fico. She worked as a district manager for Beacon Record Shop later changing her career to a massage therapist, graduating from Bancroft School of Massage Therapy.

An avid Boston Red Sox fan, Ann loved watching baseball, cheering on the Sox every moment she had. Her true passion in life was the love for her family and friends. Her greatest joys came when she was spending time with the kids, especially her nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Ann will always be remembered as the loving “AUNTIE” that cared for all of us.

She is survived by her three nieces and one godson: Lori A. (Fico) Wilcox, husband Mark of Leavenworth, KS; Lorna (Fico) Sury, husband Roger of Katy, TX; Jessica Fico of Coventry, RI; Godson, Anthony SanMartino, wife Lisa of Lincoln, RI.

Great nieces and nephews: Benjamin Wilcox, wife Amy of Lawrence, KS; Ian Wilcox, wife Samantha of Yelm, WA; Madeline (Wilcox) McDermott, husband Brian of Alexandria, VA; John Benton, wife Hanna of Spring, TX; Hunter, Angelina and Ivory Sury of Katy, TX; Anthony, Ava, Lola and Maria SanMartino of Lincoln, RI.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:30 am, Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 am at Saint Anthony Roman Catholic Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
