Americo "Rick" A. Presciutti, Sr., 93, of North Providence, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Paolella) Presciutti for 66 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Francesco and Julia (Lepre) Presciutti.
Americo was employed at Coro Manufacturing for 25 years, Pakula Jewelry Manufacturing where he was vice president of operations, Swarovski Jewelry and was the owner of A. Presti Jewelry Manufacturing with his two sons, Americo Presciutti, Jr. and Frank Presciutti. He earned his Jewelry Design Degree from RISD. In addition to his career in the jewelry industry, Americo was a real estate broker for his own brokerage, Ford Realtors.
He was an avid New York Yankees Fan and had worked out for the Boston Braves Baseball Team. He served his country proudly as a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II.
A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, his greatest joy in life was traveling, playing sports and spending quality time with his cherished family.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his three children, Americo Presciutti, Jr. and his wife Joanna Presciutti, Cyndi DiSarro and Frank Presciutti and his wife Darlene Rossi; five grandchildren, Ryan DiSarro, Briana Robinson, Justin Presciutti, Bianca Presciutti and Rocco Presciutti; and his great-grandson, Garrett Robinson. He was the brother of the late Alexander and Frederico Presciutti, Jean Bamford, Teresa Ruggieri and Angelina D'Alfunso.
Visitation will be held Thursday Morning, September 29, 2022 from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence. Burial will be private.
