Alexander C. Elby, 52, of North Providence, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at the VA Medical Center in Providence. Born in Providence, he was the son of Irene (Standish) Elby and the late Thomas A. Elby, Sr.
He had worked at various local Restaurants and was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Besides his mother, he leaves three brothers, Thomas A. Elby, Earl Elby and Anthony Elby and two sisters, Adele Gallo and Dianne Lepore. He was the brother of the late Allen P. Elby.
His funeral and burial will be private.
