Alessandra L. (Montella) Cozzolino, 98, of Providence, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Heritage Hills Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Anthony Cozzolino. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Montella, Sr. and Natalina (Iacavone) Montella. Mrs. Cozzolino worked for Langs Jewelry for many years before retiring. She is survived by her loving daughter, Mary Lou Paris; a brother, Ralph Montella Jr.; three sisters, Laura Martino, Palmina Ferrara and Olga Dean; three grandchildren, Lisa Baccala and her husband James, Richard Paris and Michael Paris; and four great grandchildren, James Baccala III, Nicholas Baccala, Brandon Paris and Makenzie Paris. She was the sister of the late John Montella, Angelo Montella, Salvatore Montella, Assunta "Sue" Lisi, Evelyn Olson, Angelina Russo and Vincenza Toro.
Visitation will be held Friday Morning, June 16, 2017 from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston.
