Ronald Potter

March 4, 1936 - May 11, 2020

Ronald Potter, 84, of Johnston, passed away Monday, May 11, 2020 at Cherry Hill Manor. He was the beloved husband of Rosalyn (Patalano) Potter for 60 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Harris Potter, Sr. and Marie (Grady) Potter. Mr. Potter retired in 1976 as a Lieutenant on the Rhode Island State Police after 20 years of service. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his two children, Bruce Potter and Lesley Mahoney and her husband Donald; and a brother, James Potter. He was the brother of the late Robert Potter, David Potter, Jayne Potter and Anne Crossley. Mr. Potter's funeral and burial with Military Honors will be private. Donations in his memory may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Road S.W., Lilburn, GA 30047. lbda.org
