Phillip J. DeVito

October 16, 1917 - February 8, 2020

Phillip J. DeVito, 102, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Morgan Health Center in Johnston. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Palazzo. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John and Filomena (Russo) DeVito. Phil was a foreman at Gem Craft Jewelry Manufacturing. He loved being outdoors and working in his yard. He and Mary were inseparable. He is survived by his daughter-in-law Lee DeVito; five grandchildren, Michele Stanley, Phillip J. DeVito III, John DeVito III, Kevin DeVito and Kristen Autieri, and three great-grandchildren, Cole Stanley, John DeVito IV, and Ethan Devito. He was the father of the late John DeVito II and Phillip J. DeVito, Jr.; brother of the late Domenic and Peter DeVito, Mary Cerbo, Anna Palozzi and Viola Musco, and father-in-law of the late Ruth DeVito. Services and burial will be private.
