Nina Zanni (Catanzaro), 105, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 3, 2021. She was the wife of the late Guido R. Zanni, Sr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Bartolomeo and Elizabeth (Ferrara) Catanzaro.
Nina was a bookkeeper for Rhode Island Hospital for many years before retiring.
She is survived by her son, Dr. Guido R. Zanni, Jr.; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Browning and Cynthia Nina Enos; a brother, Henry Catanzaro, two sisters, Cecile Gaary and Viola Roberts; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Vincent R. Zanni and the sister of the late Frank and Salvatore Catanzaro.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 10 a.m. in St. Michael's Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation is respectfully omitted.
