Joseph V. Petruccillo

Joseph V. Petruccillo, 78, of Smithfield, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 26, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Lois (Cornell) Petruccillo for 54 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Yolanda (Messina) Petruccillo.

Mr. Petruccillo worked for the State of Rhode Island as a computer programmer for many years and later taught GED classes before retiring. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three daughters, Karen Bruscini, Lori Clements and her husband, Roy Clements Jr. and Cindy Petruccillo; a brother; Vincent Petruccillo and his wife, Cheryl Thomas; and six grandchildren, Ginelle Bruscini Sargeant, Joseph Bruscini, Michael Bruscini, Cadet Jack Clements, Samuel Clements and Charles Clements.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 4 - 7 p.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. in the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
