Ida J. Barone, 93, of North Providence, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Westerly Hospital. Born in Haverhill, MA, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Maria (Espostio) Barone.
Ida worked for the McKessan Drug Company for many years before retiring. She enjoyed baking and cherished spending time with her family. She was an avid Frank Sinatra Fan.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the lifelong companion of the late Carl Russo and adored her late siblings, John Barone, Mary Gentile and Rose Pugliese.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence. Burial will be private and visitation is respectfully omitted. Donations in Ida's memory may be made to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Ave., Providence, RI 02907.
