Guido R. Proia, 74, of Cranston, passed away at Rhode Island Hospital on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Guido A. and Maria (Senatore) Proia.
Guido worked as a self-employed stonemason for many years before retiring.
He is survived by his two sons, Stephen Proia and his wife, Lori and Ronald Proia and his wife, Michelle; his sister, Susanne Proia; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Riana, Lucas and Nathan Proia; two great-grandsons, Anthony and Michael; and two step grandchildren, Marissa and Michaela. He is also survived by his former wife, Marsha Proia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 2, 2021, at 11 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, 472 Atwells Ave., Providence. Burial will be private, and visitation is respectfully omitted.
