Frances Capozzi (Scaglione), 91, of Johnston, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021. She was the wife of the late Peter Capozzi. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Francesca (Marsella) Scaglione.
Frances worked for Automatic Chain and Luster Casting for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Town Hall Lanes Bowling League in Johnston and enjoyed playing the harmonica.
She is survived by her son, David Capozzi and his companion, Lisa; her brother, John Galasso; two sisters, Irene Gianfrocco and Carol Monacelli; two grandchildren, Ryan and Chelsey Capozzi; three great granchildren, RJ, Mason and Delilah; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her canine companion, Louie. She was the sister of the late Thomasina Scaglione, Anna Scaglione, Flora Silvio, Benny Galasso, Dolores Petruska, Carmella Tortorella and Mary Lombardi.
Frances' funeral and burial will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
