Ernest Cesario, 89, of Johnston, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Rita S. (Sacramento-Fernandes) Cesario for 65 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Alberto and Carmela (Passalacqua) Cesario. Mr. Cesario owned and operated Ernie's Flower Shop on Federal Hill for many years before retiring. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Rita J. Cesario-Provost and her husband Gerard, Ernest Cesario, Jr. and Bryan Cesario and his companion, Karen Bizzacco, He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Matthew Cesario, Michael Carpenter and David Carpenter. He was predeceased by 10 siblings. Mr. Cesario's funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
