Elizabeth DeAngelis

Elizabeth "Liz" DeAngelis, 58, of North Providence, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Miriam Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Steven DeAngelis. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Marion (Barboza) Deady.

Liz was a nurse at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital for several years, and later in her career she provided home healthcare. She loved going to the beach and spending summers at her beach house in Snug Harbor with her family and dog Sky.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Lauren DeAngelis; her son, Rocco DeAngelis; a sister, Patricia DeRocco; a brother, Robert Deady; her mother-in-law, Rose DeAngelis, and two grandchildren, Dante and Lorenzo DeAngelis.

Her funeral will be held Monday, May 17, 2021 at 9 AM from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 AM in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Sunday, 4-7 PM.
