Edna M. Caprio

Edna M. Caprio (Morsilli), 89, of Johnston, passed away peacefully, of natural causes, at her daughter's home, on Saturday December 19, 2020 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Salvatore C. Caprio for 64 years. Born in North Providence and raised in Esmond, she was the daughter of the late Emilio and Virginia (Ferreira) Morsilli.

Mrs. Caprio worked for the State of Rhode Island - Department of Administration before retiring in 1995. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Grace Church. She loved music, dancing, reading and was a master of crossword puzzles. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children, Cindy Miller and her spouse, Mike of Colleyville, TX, Ronald Caprio and his spouse, Dorothy of South Korea and Tammy Caprio and her spouse, Sheri Lanni of Groton, MA; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Amaletto Morsilli, Alda Pafundi, Ava DiMaio and Gloria Beeley.

Mrs. Caprio's funeral and burial will be private and visitation is respectfully omitted. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to Care Dimensions Hospice, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
