Donnamarie T. Adamonis

February 14, 1948 — January 1, 2022

Donnamarie T. Adamonis, 73, of North Providence, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Brentwood Nursing home in Warwick. She was the loving and devoted companion of Richard Tebeau. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John Rocatelli and Gloria DeFelice. She is survived by her daughters, Holly Adamonis-Zuller and her husband Michael, and Joy Adamonis and her husband Jesse Friedman; her son, Nicholas Adamonis and his wife Katie; two sisters, Karen DiMeglio and Gloria Rocatelli and her husband Ron Rappoport, and five grandchildren, Jacob Zuller, Isabella Zuller, Alexis Adamonis, Damian Adamonis and Alyssa Adamonis. She was the grandmother of the late Elanna Zuller and niece of the late Antonio DeFelice.

Donna was a lover of the arts. Whether she was directing stage shows, musicals or serving as a liaison for talent agencies, she enjoyed every aspect of running her company, Deeva Productions. She started in New Jersey where she raised her family and in 1997, brought her business back to her home state of Rhode Island. Over the years, she produced, directed and wrote more than 75 productions and was even involved in Off-Broadway productions in NYC.
She gifted the love of theater to many children and adults alike.

While Donna was mesmerized by the worldly experience the arts gave her and others, she enjoyed the simple things in life most. Family, being a Noni, a good cup of coffee, cooking and entertaining for friends and family, flowers, music and the salty air and the sounds of the beach. She will be remembered for many things, but most importantly her fighting spirit and her dreamer outlook. She came into the world on Valentine's Day 73 years ago. It's only fitting she would leave us on another joyous holiday. We know she is looking down on us in this new stage of her life with admiration and love.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 at 11am. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave, Providence. The family requests those attending to wear masks. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nursing staff at Bentwood Nursing Home for their devoted care. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Brentwood Nursing Home and sent to 4000 Post Rd, Warwick, RI 02886.
