Domenica Russo

Domenica "Minnie" Russo passed on to her eternal rest on Monday, October 11, 2021 with her loving family by her side. She was the devoted wife of Carmino D. Russo for 66 years. She was the daughter of the late Cesare and Domenica "Minnie" (Cipriano) Giarrusso. Born in Providence, Minnie moved to North Providence upon her marriage to Carmino where she lived until her passing. Along with her husband, she leaves two precious daughters, Lisa D. Russo and Carolyn A. Russo. She also leaves a brother, Domenic Giarrusso, as well as her extended Sczerbinski family, nieces, nephews, godchildren and loving friends and caregivers. She was predeceased by her sisters, Jennie Esposito, Adeline DeFazio, Mary Simeone, Virginia Broccoli and Dora Spagnoli, and her brother, Anthony Giarrusso. At the time of her death, she was active with the UCT (United Commercial Travelers, The North Providence Chapter of the AARP, The North Providence Senior Center, and a volunteer at St. Thomas Church.
