Barbara A. Iamarone

Barbara A. Iamarone, 75, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Micco) Iamarone.

Barbara earned her bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College and worked at Miriam Hospital for many years before retiring. Barbara was a devout parishioner of St. Pius Church. Her faith guided her in all aspects of life.

She is survived by her devoted brother, Daniel A. Iamarone; her cherished nieces and nephews, Daniel and Melissa Iamarone; Jennifer and Christopher Reilly; David and Nicole Iamarone; and Scott and Shannon Iamarone; and her treasured great nieces and great nephews, Jonathan, Anthony, Zachary, Matthew, Emma, Jake, Marin, Gavin and Mallory.

Barbara was cut from an uncommon cloth. Aunt Bobbi’s generosity, kindness and good humor will always be remembered.

Visitation will be held Friday Morning, April 8, 2022 from 8:15 - 9:15 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Pius V Church, Eaton St., Providence. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Ave., Providence, RI 02907.
