Armand S. Tessaglia

April 5, 1952 - June 25, 2021

Armand S. Tessaglia, 69, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Lynn (Lithgow) Tessaglia. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Domenic and Susan (Cipolla) Tessaglia. He is survived by his sons, James R. Tessaglia and his wife Yaneira and Edward R. Tessaglia; his brothers, Raymond Tessaglia and his wife Janice and Robert Tessaglia; two grandsons, Jonas and Lucas Tessaglia; and his niece, Sydney Tessaglia. Armand is also survived by his long-time companion, Milinda Butterworth. Armand was an avid Yankees, Celtics, and Patriots fan. He was proud of his LaSalle Academy achievements and connections, including his time as a student-athlete and teacher. He retired from the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training where he helped serve the citizens and businesses of RI for over 20 years. He was meticulous about his attire, and always was sharply dressed for the occasion. His funeral will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
