Thomas F. DiPaolo, 75, of Cranston, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frank and Eugenia (Gasbarro) DiPaolo, Jr.
Tom was an educator, coach and referee for the Providence School Department for many years. In addition, he was an auxiliary State Trooper for six years as well as a real estate broker/builder for 49 years. He loved spending time at his beach house with family and friends. He was a loving brother, father and grandfather.
He is survived by three daughters, Kristen Perrotta, and her husband John, Lynn Forlini and Laura Lee, and her husband Tim; two sisters, Evelyn Doherty and Claire Birkmier, and her husband George; five grandchildren, Damian and Gian Perrotta, Jacqueline and Nicholas Forlini and Timothy “TJ” Lee; his devoted partner, Milva Catallozzi, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Richard DiPaolo.
His funeral will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 10 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. Burial will follow in Santa Maria del Campo Cemetery in Barrington.
