Salvatore Scetta, Jr., 70, of North Smithfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Martha (George) Scetta for over 49 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Salvatore Scetta, Sr. and Mary (Dionisi) Scetta.
Sal was the co-owner and operator of Kerissa Creations. He was an Army National Guard Veteran.
Sal was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Always giving so much of himself to his loving family, in their hearts he will always be. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two children, Mark Scetta and his partner, Holly Wach of Providence, RI; Melissa Pitocco and her husband, Jim of Attleboro, MA; a brother, David Scetta of North Providence RI; three grandchildren, Brian and Sarah Maher and Morena Scetta; two step grandchildren, Gabrielle Bove and Jessica Pitocco. As well as his canine companion, Paige.
Visitation will be held on Thursday Morning, January 2, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon immediately followed by a Prayer Service in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
