Rose M.(Taylor) Fantetti, 94, passed away at Scalabrini Villa on Monday, May 28, 2018. Rose was born in Providence on March 9, 1924 and was a resident of North Providence from 1955 to 2012. She was a recent resident at Scalabrini Villa.

Rose was the wife of the late Antonio Fantetti, daughter of the late John and Ursillia (Pellegrino) Taylor and sister to the late Alfred Tella, Paul Taylor, Nicola Tella, Emelia Taylor, Elsie Forbes and Marie Tella.

She leaves behind her daughter Donna Yena and son-in-law John Yena of East Greenwich and her son Paul of Astoria, New York.  She is survived by 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and scores of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Rose served as the President of the Christian Brothers Mother’s Association of New England, and as library assistant at the Providence Public Library.

Her Funeral will be held, Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 9 a.m. from MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITATION Friday 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Scalabrini Villa, 860 North Quidnessett Rd., North Kingstown, RI 02852.
