Janice A. Allard, 69, of North Providence, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019. She was the wife of the late Michael A. Allard. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Eleanor (LoMastro) LeBeau.
Janice worked as a secretary for Amperex before retiring. An active parishioner of Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, she was a member of the choir and volunteered her time in the office and at many church functions.
A loving and devoted mother, she is survived by her son, Jeffrey M. Allard. She was the sister-in-law of Deborah Lombardo and Edward Allard of Blackstone, MA; Janis and James Lacroix of Franklin; Joseph Allard of Gloucester; Kathi Allard of Southampton; Lois and Marcel Coutu, Diane and Kevin Fitzgerald, Michelle Allard and Karen Allard, all of Bellingham; Norman Belanger and Paul Blais of Woonsocket. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters-in law Gail Donna Belanger, Betty Jo Blais, Judy E. Marchand and Arlene Allard, and her brothers-in-law John Allard, William Allard and Gerald Marchand.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 10 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation is respectfully omitted.
