Dominic Cifelli, 77, formerly of Lincoln, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Nicola and Margaret (Badessa) Cifelli.
Dominic worked as a business owner in the wire and cable industry before retiring. He was a graduate of LaSalle Academy and Bryant College and earned his MBA from Boston College. A longtime member of the Wannamoisett Country Club, he was one of the most social golfers to ever play the game. Those who knew him best will always remember the smile on his face and his enthusiasm for life.
A loving and devoted father and grandfather, he is survived by his children, Mark Cifelli and Susan DelRicci, her companion, Kenneth Anselmo; his sisters, Anna Bucci and Evelyn Degli Angeli; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Ghosh and Nicholas, Benjamin, Zachary and Charlotte Cifelli. He is also survived by his beloved companion, Patricia Hessler. He was the brother of the late Mary Troiano.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 9 a.m. from MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Pius V Church, Eaton St., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
